NOTE: The blog is in a soft-launch, getting the address out to the public. I’ll have a post for you by the weekend. Meanwhile, remember to SHINE!
The header’s scrumptious, right? All mystical-majikal and zen-like? Peaceful and welcoming? Easy to imagine yourself on that path, breeze caressing your face, sounds and smells of nature all around as you dance along like the adventuresome, childlike creature you are?
That’s the point of this blog. There are harsh realities out there, waiting to bite us on the bum. There are surrealistic fantasies playing out in the heads of our politicians, friends and neighbors … even our press. There is grump and growl everywhere we turn, finger-pointing and worry.
But not here. Here we’re listening for the whisper of our Higher Angels.
Whatever is, is … but there is always another way to see the moment, another perspective that tempers the sting and adds to the evolution of our daily lives. We’ll look for those options here because we — you and I — are remaking the world. We will quest for the larger spiritual picture, the small [but never inconsequential] graces and the expanded heart that lends us courage and calm.
I have chosen the New Moon in Aries conjunct the bitty speck of an [as yet] unnamed minor planet orbiting our Sun beyond Pluto — 1992 QB1 — for the launch of this project. Eric Francis references this as the flagship energy of those “who step in at that moment of total transition and offer themselves in service.” He has proposed that it be named after the Hindu Goddess Radharani, as, by classification, QB1 will be named for a deity of creation or resurrection.
Eric continues:
“This is an appropriate planet to have conjunct a New Moon on the cusp of so much change. In Aries, we get the clue that this really is about guiding our own processes of reinventing ourselves, and supporting the similar experiences of others; of letting go of an old form and an old pattern of energy and transitioning into something entirely new, liberated from constrictions that seem so daunting today — particularly those of the human ego.”
The astrology has been escalating steadily for the last years, and we have been taking in more Light by daily increments for a long time now. If we’re spun up, vibrating faster, finding all the absolutes shaking themselves apart before our very eyes, this can come as no surprise. That we experience our circumstance as cramped and limiting and anxious can only speak to the birthing process we have long anticipated. I propose, today, that we become our own midwives.
Neale Donald Walsh sent this, recently:
- You are invited by life to elect yourself a Spiritual Leader, and to take office today. What does a spiritual leader say? A spiritual leader does not say, “Follow me.” A spiritual leader says, “I’ll go first.”
Decide today to take the oath: I promise to “go first” in demonstrating forgiveness, compassion, understanding, generosity, kindness, cheerfulness, positivity, and love.
We’re not playing ‘follow the leader,’ anymore. We’re strolling along the path, arm in arm, keeping the vision — sharing wisdom and laughter, comforting one another and inviting the best version of ourselves to come out and play. I would like this space to be a safe place to put our links, our thoughts and our changes; always mindful that we are each One cell in the body of God/dess, the great creative I AM that shines Light through us like a transparency to reveal our shifting reality.
If you would like to join me here, just add me to your Favorites. Leave a message, and I’ll drop you in. I can’t promise to be profound or amusing or even available at every turn, but this new space is part of my soul contract and I feel its potential deeply within me. I’ll always have a quote or an article to lift or intrigue you, a gentle word of encouragement to smooth the way and I’m looking forward to creating a Light Island of inspired dialogue with you.
Welcome to my world. I hope you’ll visit often.

[...] Hi all, this is a low key hello and introduction to a new blog by Judith Gayle, called Jude’s Here. [...]
one new Spring vision to another:
Agrarian Age
In Spring we speak of seeds
bundled possibilities
foreseeing market days hale and fair
succulent fruit, trilling herbs,
vitalizing veggies
and all the spicey chatter of conviviality
First there was the seed
plowed under to taste Earth,
swell with water,
burst into fecund brew building
cells of chlorophyll to catch the fire,
symbiotically breathe, exchanging
death for life
Sacred seed
clothed in mystic ceremonies
deeply deified in chthonic memory
We carry the seed of our fathers,
the tears of our mothers,
the hopes and fears of our priests and lords,
over rocky terrain, in hidden caves through
ice and flood and slavering predation,
never doubting nobility of destiny
On appointed days, carefully watching solar/lunar
alignments,
our assigned labor commences. Busy as any
bird or bee, we commit seed to chosen ground
with all the love we can command
Then, off to bacchanalia, reveling in a grand scheme
promising sustenance, renewed strength, plans,
romances, unnumbered chances for pride
and glory
Thus goes the story we retell in lullaby,
in schoolyard intimacies and scholarly lies,
puffing up our little share of knowledge, magical
protection from overwhelming vastness
of mystery, shades of colors without name
Unclear on the protocol of shame, unwilling to admit
to ignorance that might unsettle carefully laid
hierarchies, unloose gates inviting chaos or worse,
we gather of our fruit for sacrifice to gods of greed and vice,
gleefully watch the rending of they who are not me
“I, too wise for such ill use, repeatedly proven
in my abuse of these ill-named foes I refuse to admit
as kin — sinners, Lord. Surely I’ll not be taken in,
not take them in. Not share the bounty of your seed,
given to the chosen.”
Even in these days of polluted soil, of toil
demoted to laughable commodity,
idly watching waste stream into muddy rivers,
enjoying occasional feasts of vicarious blood,
throwing the unsanctified into the raging flood,
desperately trying to stem an unquenchable tide,
while hiding any glimpse of remorse lest shadow
presage disaster
Eating both fruit and seed, rather than part with
familiar fantasy

An Oasis of Light in the shadows of Illusion.
As a small step to entering this space for daily journeying, I am once again going back to an ancient practice that grounds me more than anything else as well as being a foundation to wholistic living – Yoga. Breathing, stretching, bending, grounding and awareness.
That is a Spirit Lake (Anne Wilson Schaef – Meditation for Living in Balance) which anyone can enter, if we but take the time and persistence; this is literally connecting with and moving with spirit and energy, tapping the fire and desire of living.
As I write I am listening to a song from the Gaia choir – We all come from the Goddess and to her we shall return, like a drop of rain falling to the ocean.
This simple practice is just as transforming and does it not speak of death of old ways – being distracted, rushing hurrying – and connecting with a new way of living?
Honored to be invited to your circle of light!
There truly have been some eventful changes taking place both within and without the past few years, but especially since last fall.
I offer blessings of the journey to all who gather here.
An angel sent this blog. The oath is an ode to life and a manifesto for the way through transitions. I look forward to the sharing between kindred spirits. Many thanks and blessings
I’ve long admired your insight and the will that keeps you digging in the dirt to tell us what is going on. I look forward to sharing the inner Jude who is now ready to let us see where this strength has been coming from. Thank you for creating and sharing this blog. It will be a healing place for all who come here. Love and blessings.
You have inspired me many times pointing out the optimistic light in all the desperate changes the world is going through. We are in a process of bringing more light into our shadowy world, which will highlight the uglies that has surrounded us for so long.
This is the time of ethics, according to the Maya. In the news we see our politicians, like deer caught in headlights, clutching their garbage for dear life. All we need to do is hold the flash light.
All we need to do is allow the light to flow through us, as we become open spaces for inner suns. I look forward to join you in this journey. Thanks for the invitation.
Wencke.
Yay! I’m feeling so excited because your words meet my need for deep connection, with myself and the universe. I’m happy to find your new space and I’ll visit often.
This is great, Cousin, you Higher Angel, because your essays are my favorite thing on Planet Waves!
G’day Jude and many thanks. Smiling and waving from over the misty water.
Great! I’ve always loved your essays on Eric’s website. So happy to have “direct contact”. Brava! and God/dess bless.
Thanks so much for this oasis! I’ve been a fan of your essays for years–a clarion call in the wilderness! This is great! Thanks for the invite. All the best.
I’ve been a Big fan of your writing from PW. So glad you’ve started this blog. Can’t ever seem to get enough of your words.
As I’ve said in many of my emails to the Planet Waves site, your columns ought to be required reading for everyone, and I’m not one to gush. Your insights and perspective are food for the starving – those of us on the spiritual path, we “mystics without monasteries” who are struggling to find our footing at this disorienting time. I’m just sure this is the start of great things as more people are exposed to the gems you offer.
Jude,
My sister in Light and astrology. Blessings on what you have birthed, and what shall be birthed.
An amazing breath of “fresh air”. Yes, I will visit often.
Blessings,
Ava
Okay, I’m jonesing for another entry here.
glad you’re doing this. It feels so right!
Hey Jude! You never seem to let me down, for you make it all sound so much better.(Beatles song ; to be heard in the background while reading this blog ) Better that you, we, (you, I) are not caught in the intense madness which seems to prevail today, available to all, if so inclined . This would consume us ( you and I) if it wasn’t the likes of you, that is wild ,wise, a soothsayers to” tell it like it is”. You put into words, adding a profound meaning to each word you write. It is nothing less then inspiring.
Giving of oneself , a feeling it’s good to be crazy, as it keeps you from going insane. I can be called it gratitude, to tell about oneself, or about others. I sent comments to you, as it is a way that moves something more then ones eyes running across the screen reading the material you places on the Planet Waves. You can help many hold onto their sanity.I like the story you write about walking out into your garden or walk way, and really taking a deep re-assessment of life; it touched my core of body, mind spirit.
Glad to come along on this journey. Sounds as if a whole bunch of us are busy reinventing ourselves. The screeching world has taken too much from us and we need to reclaim it. Will look forward to your further entries and contributing through comments.
…the various Avatars never said, ‘Worship me because I’m special” — they said, ‘Wow, you GOTTA try this!’
